  • Details to live our values

Any time we bring people together, the planning and production process requires coordination and communication. We put countless hours into creating spaces that we’re proud to invite others into and there is much to learn about improving operations based on clues from event planning. Maybe the website needs to be clearer, or the project management systems from a workshop could scale to support different projects. It could be that email lists need to be cleaned up or there is a need to clarify organizational priorities.

    I offer customizable support:

    • Manage administrative tasks like emails, calendars and updates

    • Record maintenance

    • Building alliances and partnerships with other organizations and institutions including fundraising and philanthropic partners

    • Organize and facilitate internal meetings

    • Task management

    • Support for well-being and work-life balance

    • Developing, implementing and reviewing operational policies and procedures

I am currently supporting The HEAL Project with operations

  • learning and unlearning in community

    • I offer facilitation and trainings to bring pertinent conversations to the room.

Facilitation is a craft of making a container and continuing to steer when it’s in motion. I work to create spaces where more voices can be heard and keep participants engaged. I offer facilitation for topics in which I have designed the content and support facilitators to bring their own content.

    • I offer training to us online tools and technology for more connected facilitation. I love showing people how to use tools that allow them to accomplish their goals and experience more ease in digital space.

I can help with all things Zoom, Google Suite, and have a passion for participatory events on any platform including day-of tech support.

    past workshop topics:

building and running great volunteer programs, using tarot to get creative with giving, saving in solidarity, towards a feminist future, online facilitation: using Zoom as an organizing space

  • sharing power through action

I work with volunteers because people volunteer when they care about. Volunteering activates yearnings that are beyond what money can buy. Volunteering can challenge extractive ways of thinking about work and provides a medium to curate culture. Experience a brave space for honing new skill sets and dreaming into what else is possible. It is ground for experimentation to find authentic ways to express commitment to our values and invest in ourselves.

I can support with designing and executing a volunteer program that will build a base for your organization.

past projects with organizations: Showing Up for Racial Justice, The National LGBTQ+ Task Force, Camp Ten Trees, Seattle Dyke March, Pratt Fine Arts Center

What People Are Saying

“Jules brings an expansive + generous view to their work. I think their real gift resides, however, in the eye for detail they bring to both program material + outreach. Every bit of feedback they offered at every stage of program development, outreach + presentation was clear, specific, + absolutely improved upon what I had generated by myself. It might go without saying, but just in case: their integrity is impeccable.”

SheA in the Catskills

“Jules, thank you for your work to support us as volunteers. I had a fantastic time at the conference and I’m super appreciative to you and your team for going above and beyond. I was just telling my partner about how much I admire your leadership style and attention to small yet impactful details. She said I could learn a lot from you- Amen to that! Can’t wait to do this again next year.”

— Program Participant

“You’re gonna feel like a friend helped you in all the ways you didn’t know you needed until it was already happening.”
